Join a League

Registration
To be part of a Fantasy Foldem league you must first complete an Owner Registration Form. Once registered as an owner, you will be able to join a league and compete for real cash awards. If any of the information entered in Owner Registration Forms becomes outdated, it is the responsibility of the owner to keep their profile information updated, using the "Change My Profile" link in the "My Profile" page.

Draft Leagues
Draft Leagues are available both at scheduled start times and "Sit and Draft" formats. The following rules apply to both scheduled start and "Sit and Draft" leagues.

Whether a draft begins at a scheduled time or upon a "Sit and Draft" reaching capacity, the draft will start promptly, and the draft order will be determined upon a random drawing of playing cards. Players will draft in an order according to the card received with the player receiving the highest card drafting first (an Ace plays as the highest card). There will then be a 2 minute window before the clock will start for the first player drafting. Each player will have 45 seconds to make his or her selection. If you do not make a pick within the allotted time or you lose your internet connection, a player will automatically be selected for you based upon your personal pre-rankings or Fantasy Foldem's player rankings. In both of these cases, positions of needs will be taken into consideration. Please see Team Selection below for more information regarding the "Auto-draft" feature. Each team will draft 12 players, as indicated: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF, and 3 Bench players. Upon the completion of the draft, you can adjust your starting roster of players as desired and allowing for the required number of starters at each position. There will be no adding/dropping of players after the draft has completed.

Please note that friends are welcome to join the same league if spots are available but an owner is not allowed to have more than one team per league. All rosters must consist of players from more than 1 team. Moreover, rosters cannot consist entirely of players who are playing in the same game. For example, if the Redskins are playing the Cowboys, your roster cannot consist entirely of players from the Redskins and Cowboys. Any violations of these policies will result in an owner's team being voided and forfeiture of entry fees paid and any awards won. Violators will also be subject to banishment from playing at Fantasy Foldem.

Salary Cap Leagues
Upon signing up for a salary cap league, you can select your roster of players as indicated: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. Your roster must stay below the league salary cap for the given week. You can adjust your roster of players as desired, but not exceeding the league salary cap. Please see Transaction Deadlines below for additional details.

Cancellation
Fantasy games are offered with a limited money back guarantee.

Owners may withdraw from a "Sit and Draft" league at any time prior to the league reaching capacity without penalty and will receive a full refund of their entry fee.

Owners will not be allowed to withdraw from a draft scheduled to start at a certain time unless such withdrawal is made prior to 24 hours before the scheduled start. If you cancel your team 24 hours before your online draft, you will receive a complete refund. If a league fails to fill up prior to the draft date, the league will be cancelled and you will receive a complete refund. Owners of teams in cancelled leagues will also receive an email regarding similar upcoming draft leagues that the owner may be interested in joining.

Team Selection

Draft Leagues
The owners in a draft league will sign-on to Fantasy Foldem at either a scheduled time or a time of their convenience, when participating in a "Sit and Draft", and hold an online live draft. Each owner selects one player per round. The draft order will be determined prior to the draft time and will reverse each round. If an owner is unable to participate in the live draft, he/she will be switched to "Auto-draft" and their team will be selected automatically. The "Auto-draft" will select the highest ranked player in order of the positions listed below:

Round Position
1 Highest-Rated Player Available
2 Highest-Rated Player Available

Exception: Will not select the same position as the 1st round selection, unless the 1st round selection was a RB.
Remaining
Rounds
Highest-Rated Player Available

Exception: Will select players at positions to ensure all starting roster positions are filled, before any bench players are selected. Additionally, the kicker starting position will not be selected until all other starting and bench positions are filled.

Live Draft Details
Be sure to enter your league draft room at least 15 minutes prior to the draft. Go to your league home page and select "Enter Draft Room". If you cannot be present, be sure to pre-rank your players either within the "My League" page or within the "My Profile" page. By pre-ranking players within the "My Profile" page you will be carrying this personalized ranking into each draft you enter. If you do not show up for the draft, after your time expires on the first pick, you will be automatically switched to "Auto-draft". Your pre-rank list will be used to draft your team. If you do not pre-rank your players, the Fantasy Foldem default player rankings will be used.

In the draft room, you will be able to use the draft queue. You can select players to place in your draft queue, so when it is your turn to draft, you can have the player or players you want, ready to go.

Salary Cap Leagues
The owners in a salary cap league will sign-on to Fantasy Foldem at a time of their convenience, but prior to the Transaction Deadlines, and select a team that does not exceed the defined salary cap and meets the specifications set forth in League/Team Configuration.

Draft Leagues

2 to 6 Person Draft League
Players playing in Thursday/Saturday games will be available in 2-6 person draft leagues that are scheduled to start 1 hour prior to kickoff of the first Thursday/Saturday game. For scheduled draft and "Sit and Draft" leagues that do not commence before this time, players scheduled to play in these games will be not be available. Additionally, no 2-6 person draft leagues will begin with less than 1 hour remaining prior to kickoff of the first Sunday game.

8 to 12 Person Draft League
Players playing in Thursday/Saturday games will be available in 8-12 person draft leagues that are scheduled to start 2 hours prior to kickoff of the first Thursday/Saturday game. For scheduled draft and "Sit and Draft" leagues that do not commence before this time, players scheduled to play in these games will be not be available. Additionally, no 8-12 person draft leagues will begin with less than 2 hours remaining prior to kickoff of the first Sunday game.

After a draft is completed, owners will be able to move any player back and forth from starting positions to bench positions up until 5 minutes prior to kickoff of the 1st game of the week (note: this may be Thursday/Saturday during certain weeks of the NFL season). After the games have begun for a week, owners will only be able to move players whose games have not yet begun. All players will lock into their current position 5 minutes prior to their respective kickoff. To avoid timing issues, be sure to make lineup changes well in advance of the 5 minute window.

Salary Cap Leagues
Owners of teams in a salary cap league may adjust their rosters within the parameters of the salary cap and according to the provisions set forth in League Configuration provided that all adjustments are made prior to 5 minutes before kickoff of the first Sunday game. Please note that owners may choose players participating in Thursday/Saturday games, when applicable, if they complete their roster selection prior to 5 minutes before kickoff of the first game played that Thursday/Saturday. Owners with players involved in Thursday games will not be able to drop these players after the period beginning 5 minutes prior to kickoff of the first Thursday/Saturday game. Owners not wishing to select players involved in Thursday/Saturday games may make their roster selections up until 5 minutes prior to kickoff of the first Sunday game; however, they will not be able to select players who have already completed their games the previous Thursday/Saturday.

Standard Decimal Scoring System

All leagues use the same standard scoring system, outlined below. A team will receive points based on stats from the NFL games played. If two teams have the same number of points, then Tiebreakers will determine the winner.

Scoring is calculated based on a decimal scoring system, up to the hundredth. Anything beyond the hundredth percentile is rounded down. Example: a QB passes for 237 yards, a QB receives 1 point per 25 yards, and so the resulting points scored will be 9.48.

Only players in your starting lineup will count toward your point total each week. You do not receive any points from players on your bench.

Offensive Skill Positions: QB, RB, WR, TE
Passing Touchdown 4 Points
Rushing or Receiving Touchdown 6 Points
Passing Yards 1 Point per 25 Yards
Rushing and Receiving Yards 1 Point per 10 Yards
Receptions 1 Point per Reception
2pt Conversion 2 Points
Interception -2 Points
Fumble Lost -2 Points

Kickers
Made FG 50+ Yards 5 Points
Made FG 40-49 Yards 4 Points
Made FG 0-39 Yards 3 Points
Missed FG 0-39 Yards -2 Points
Missed FG 40-49 Yards -1 Point
Missed FG 50+ Yards 0 Points
Made Extra Point 1 Point
Missed Extra Point -1 Point

Defense/Special Teams
0 Points Allowed 15 Points
1-7 Points Allowed 10 Points
8-13 Points Allowed 7 Points
14-20 Points Allowed 4 Points
21-28 Points Allowed 0 Points
29+ Points Allowed -5 Points
Defensive or Special Teams TD 6 Points
Interception 2 Points
Fumble Recovery 2 Points
Sack 1 Point
Safety 2 Points

Scoring Notes
These are special scoring issues which require further explanation:

Special Team Scoring
A team will be rewarded 6 points for a special team touchdown to their defense/special team selection. The player who scores the special team touchdown will also receive 6 points. Example: If Devin Hester returns a kickoff for a touchdown, Chicago will receive 6 points for a special team's touchdown and Devin Hester also receives 6 points.

FG Return for TD
A field goal attempt returned for a TD will be officially scored as a DEF/Special Teams TD.

Scoring Corrections
Scoring corrections are only made when absolutely necessary. All point totals will be final for the week on Wednesday. You will receive an announcement if a stats correction must be made to your final score.

Real-time statistics during games are subject to change and should be considered unofficial.

Tiebreakers
The following system will be used to determine the order of finish in leagues. If the tiebreaker system still results in a tie, the payout will be split between the winners:
Draft Leagues
  1. Overall points scored
  2. Fantasy points scored by running backs, quarterbacks and wide receivers combined.
  3. Most fantasy points scored by an individual player/position.
  4. Split the awards.
Salary Cap Leagues
  1. Overall points scored
  2. Fantasy points scored by running backs, quarterbacks and wide receivers combined.
  3. Most fantasy points scored by an individual player/position.
  4. The owner closest to the actual total score of the Monday Night Game, or a game designated by Fantasy Foldem, without going over.
  5. Split the awards.

Reward Points

Earn reward points for every league you participate in and win awards. Earn "Foldem Points" for every paid draft or salary cap league, and earn "Fantasy Points" for all free draft and salary cap leagues.

If requested, Fantasy Foldem may choose to assign participants living on the west coast later draft times; however, Fantasy Foldem cannot guarantee that special draft time requests will be granted. If a participant is not present or does not have an active internet connection at his or her draft's scheduled start time, they will be Auto-drafted according to the same policies that govern Fantasy Foldem's other contests.
